Starting power forward Zach Randolph has really been a dominating force for the Grizzlies this season. He has started all 70 games that he has played in this season for the Grizzlies and he is averaging 37.8 minutes, 20.9 points, 11.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. The Grizzlies will need Randolph to finish the season strong if they are going to have any hope of snagging the #8 spot in the Western Conference playoffs.

Marc Gasol has really played well this season for the Memphis Grizzlies

Center Marc Gasol has really played well for the Grizzlies this season following in his brother’s (Pau) footsteps. Gasol has played in 67 games (all starts) for the Grizzlies this season and he is averaging 35.9 minutes, 14.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.6 blocked shots per game. Gasol has shot 58.3% from the floor this season which is pretty amazing. It’s very possible that Marc Gasol will be better than his brother down the road and that would be great for the Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies shot 52.6% from the floor last night and they outrebounded the Bulls 46-31 but it wasn’t until the 4th quarter when they outscored the Bulls 29-16 that they put them away. Zach Randolph led the way for the Grizzlies last night with 31 points and 18 rebounds. O.J. Mayo had another solid game for the Grizzlies with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Rudy Gay was also pretty active with 17 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and 2 blocked shots last night. The Grizzlies are now 32-30 on the year.

The Grizzlies were led last night by point guard Michael Conley who had his best game of the year. He finished up with 26 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Zach Randolph was outstanding also with 23 points and 11 rebounds last night. Rudy Gay pitched in with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. This was a big win for the Grizzlies as the Hornets are one of the teams they are competing with for a playoff spot.

The Grizzlies got popped 41-21 in the third quarter last night and it was a beating they couldn’t recover from. Zach Randolph led the way for the Grizzlies last night with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Rudy Gay was a very busy guy last night with 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots. Marc Gasol was solid in the middle for the Grizzlies last night with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 blocked shots. The Grizzlies are now 30-30 on the season.
