The Memphis Grizzlies lose power forward Darrell Arthur for a while
The Grizzlies have lost 24-year old power forward Darrell Arthur for the next 4-6 weeks due to a non-displaced leg fracture. He was injured in a pickup basketball game. This is a bad break for both the Grizzlies and Arthur, as he is starting to look injury prone after missing the entire 2011-12 season due to injury. Arthur has played in 188 games (74 starts) in his first three years with the Grizzlies and he is averaging 18.8 minutes, 6.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. The Grizzlies hope that Arthur will be ready to help them off the bench when the 2012-13 season begins.
