The Grizzlies have signed 22-year old small forward Chris Johnson to a second 10-day contract. Johnson has played in 5 games (0 starts) for the Grizzlies so far this year and he is averaging 18.4 minutes, 5.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game. This was a smart move for the Grizzlies as Johnson has played pretty well for them and their bench is pretty thin right now.
UPDATE: (2/13/2013) – The Grizzlies have let Johnson’s second 10-day contract expire. He played in 8 games (0 starts) for the Grizzlies and he averaged 12.8 minutes, 3.6 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. The Grizzlies should be o.k. without Johnson moving forward.
